Agenda
In addition to the exhibitions’ opening show, several events will be taking place in Rossinière during the summer of 2011: meetings with the artists, guided visits and round tables. HIGH ALTITUDE will thus gather together specialists in images, historians, sociologists, and critics to discuss the mountain, its transformations and its representations.

‘La représentation des Alpes à travers les images de voyage’ (The representation of the Alps through travel images). With Claude Reichler (University of Lausanne), Susanne Bieri (Bibliothèque nationale suisse), Urs Kneubühl (Musée alpin suisse) and Simon Roth (Médiathèque du Valais).

‘TET A TET : échanges artistiques entre la Suisse et le Kirghizstan’ (Artistic exchanges between Switzerland and Kyrgyzstan). A residential project organised by the Focus Association. In the presence of Shakyla Hussain, President of the Focus association, and of Kyrgyz artists (Bermet Borubaeva, Nikolai Cherkasov, Anatoly Kolesnikov, Dmitri Petrovskii) and Swiss artists (Simon Deppierraz, Yann Gross, Régis Tosetti). www.focus-art.ch
